This Sparkling Cranberry Ginger Mocktail is a simple, three-ingredient drink that feels special without any effort. It’s the perfect balance of tart cranberry, spicy ginger, and bubbly water, making it a crowd-pleaser for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ounces (120 ml) pure cranberry juice (100% juice, not cocktail)
  • 2 ounces (60 ml) ginger beer or ginger ale
  • 2 ounces (60 ml) sparkling water or club soda
  • 1/2 ounce (15 ml) fresh lime juice (about half a small lime)
  • Ice (large cubes preferred)
  • Fresh cranberries and lime wheels for garnish (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon simple syrup or honey (optional, for sweetness)

Instructions

  1. Chill your glass in the freezer for about 10 minutes, or fill with ice water while you prep.
  2. Roll the lime firmly on the countertop, cut in half, and juice it. Strain to remove seeds.
  3. Fill the chilled glass with ice.
  4. Pour in 4 ounces of cranberry juice.
  5. Add 2 ounces of ginger beer or ginger ale.
  6. Add the fresh lime juice.
  7. Top with 2 ounces of sparkling water or club soda.
  8. Stir gently with a bar spoon for about 5 seconds to combine without losing carbonation.
  9. Garnish with fresh cranberries and a lime wheel. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a stronger ginger kick, use ginger beer. For a milder drink, use ginger ale. The lime is non-negotiable for brightness. For batch preparation, combine cranberry juice, ginger beer, and lime juice ahead of time, but add sparkling water and ice just before serving. Use large ice cubes to prevent dilution.
