A fun and simple mini football-shaped charcuterie board with pretzels, cheese, meats, and veggies. Perfect for game days, parties, or any casual gathering, this no-cook snack is quick to assemble and completely customizable.

Ingredients

  • Pretzel sticks
  • Pretzel twists or mini pretzels
  • Cheddar cheese cubes (sharp or mild)
  • Pepperoni slices
  • Salami slices (Genoa or hard salami)
  • Grape tomatoes
  • Green olives (stuffed with pimento or plain)
  • Small pickles or cornichons
  • Dipping sauces: honey mustard, ranch, or spicy sriracha mayo

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Cube the cheddar cheese into ½-inch squares. Slice any larger salami into bite-sized pieces if needed. Arrange your dipping sauces in small bowls.
  2. Shape the football outline: Place the pretzel sticks in a football shape on your board. Start with a line down the center for the ‘laces,’ then build the outer shape by arranging pretzel sticks in a tapered oval.
  3. Fill the center with cheese: Arrange the cheddar cubes inside the pretzel outline, leaving some space for other items. Place them in rows for a neat look.
  4. Add the meats: Fold pepperoni slices in half and tuck them between the cheese cubes. Roll up salami slices and place them at the ends of the football for a pop of color.
  5. Fill gaps with veggies and extras: Scatter grape tomatoes, green olives, and small pickles in the remaining spaces. Aim for even distribution so every bite has a little variety.
  6. Place the dips: Set small bowls of honey mustard, ranch, or your sauce of choice near the edges of the board. Make sure they are stable and not tipping over.
  7. Finish with pretzel twists: Fill any empty spots with mini pretzel twists or broken pieces. This adds texture and fills out the board beautifully.
  8. Garnish and serve: If you have fresh herbs like parsley or rosemary, tuck a few sprigs around the edges for color. Serve immediately or cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Keep pretzels crisp by adding them just before serving. Pat wet ingredients like tomatoes or pickles dry to avoid sogginess. Assemble no more than 2 hours ahead and let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving. Customize with your favorite cheeses, meats, and dips.
