A festive and easy-to-assemble Halloween charcuterie board featuring candy corn, caramel apples, cheeses, meats, and more. Perfect for parties, this no-cook board comes together in under 20 minutes and is always the first thing to disappear.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (about 12 ounces) candy corn
  • 4 large caramel apples
  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 6 ounces smoked gouda cheese, sliced
  • 4 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 6 ounces Genoa salami, sliced
  • 1 cup green grapes
  • 2 Granny Smith apples, sliced
  • 1 cup pretzel sticks
  • 2 cups assorted crackers
  • ½ cup smoked almonds
  • 4 ounces dark chocolate squares
  • ½ cup dried apricots
  • 45 fresh rosemary sprigs

Instructions

  1. Place your board on the counter and visualize the layout, dividing it into thirds: one third for cheeses and meats, one third for fruits and sweets, one third for crackers and extras.
  2. Set small bowls or ramekins on the board. Fill one with candy corn, one with smoked almonds, and one with dark chocolate squares.
  3. Cube the sharp cheddar into ½-inch pieces and pile them in a loose cluster. Fan out the smoked gouda slices in a separate area, leaving space between cheese types.
  4. Fold each prosciutto slice loosely into a ribbon shape and place near one cheese cluster. Fold salami slices in half, then half again into triangles, and arrange near the other cheese.
  5. Scatter green grapes in small clusters around the board, filling gaps between cheese and meat areas. Slice one Granny Smith apple into thin wedges and arrange in a fan pattern near the edge. Keep slices in lemon water until placing.
  6. Cut each caramel apple into 8 wedges, wiping the knife clean between cuts. Arrange wedges in a single layer in one section of the board.
  7. Arrange water crackers in a staggered line along one edge. Pile pretzel sticks in a small cluster near the cheese. Place buttery crackers near the gouda.
  8. Tuck dried apricots into any empty spaces. Place fresh rosemary sprigs artistically around the board. Fill any bare spots with extra grapes or pretzel sticks.

Notes

Let caramel apples sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before slicing to prevent caramel from cracking. Spray knife with cooking spray for cleaner cuts. Assemble board about 30 minutes before guests arrive to let cheese come to room temperature. Set out small plates and napkins to avoid sticky fingers. Leftovers should be separated into airtight containers; caramel apples are best eaten within 24 hours.
