  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 sleeve graham crackers, broken into dippers
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Butter the skillet evenly with about 2 tablespoons of softened unsalted butter.
  3. Pour the chocolate chips into the prepared skillet, spreading them out to form an even layer covering the bottom.
  4. Sprinkle a pinch of salt over the chocolate.
  5. Top with mini marshmallows, spreading them evenly to cover the chocolate.
  6. Place the skillet in the oven on the middle rack and bake for about 10-12 minutes until marshmallows puff up and turn golden brown.
  7. Remove the skillet carefully using oven mitts and let it cool for a minute or two.
  8. Serve immediately with plenty of graham cracker dippers.

Notes

Watch marshmallows closely to avoid burning; tent with foil if browning too fast. Use fresh mini marshmallows for best toasting. Let dip rest a couple of minutes before serving to thicken slightly. Variations include swapping chocolate types, adding nuts, or using gluten-free graham crackers or apple slices for dippers.
