These adorable mummy pigs in a blanket are the perfect Halloween party snack. Made with just three ingredients, they’re quick, easy, and always a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (12-14 ounces) cocktail sausages (e.g., Hillshire Farm or Johnsonville)
  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough (e.g., Pillsbury)
  • 23 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • Everything bagel seasoning (optional, for sprinkling)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Ranch dressing or ketchup (optional, for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean cutting board. If using perforated triangles, pinch the diagonal seams together to form one large rectangle. Cut the dough into thin strips, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide and 4 to 5 inches long (you’ll get about 20-24 strips).
  3. Take one cocktail sausage and wrap a dough strip around it, leaving a small gap near the top for the eyes. Leave about 1/2 inch of sausage exposed at the top. Press the end of the dough gently to seal. Repeat with all sausages.
  4. Place each wrapped mummy on the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 1 inch of space between them.
  5. Dip a toothpick into the yellow mustard and dab two small dots onto the exposed sausage at the top of each mummy to create eyes.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and puffed.
  7. Let them rest on the baking sheet for 2-3 minutes before serving. Transfer to a serving platter.

Notes

Don’t wrap the dough too tightly, or it won’t puff properly. Keep the strips thin (1/4 to 1/2 inch). Use a toothpick for precise mustard eyes. Check at 10 minutes to avoid burning. Can be assembled up to 4 hours ahead; add mustard eyes just before baking. For air fryer: cook at 350°F (175°C) for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway.
