A vibrant and creamy smoothie bowl topped with adorable berry hearts, perfect for a quick, healthy, and visually stunning breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (150g) frozen mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
  • 3/4 cup (180ml) Greek yogurt, plain or vanilla
  • 1 medium ripe banana, frozen
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) almond milk or plant-based milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 68 fresh strawberries, sliced thinly
  • A handful of fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Take 1 cup (150g) of frozen mixed berries and 1 ripe banana (peeled and frozen) out of the freezer.
  2. In your blender, combine the frozen berries, frozen banana, 3/4 cup (180ml) Greek yogurt, and 1/4 cup (60ml) almond milk. Add 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup if you like it sweeter.
  3. Pulse the blender, then blend on high for about 1-2 minutes. Stop and scrape down the sides if needed. The mixture should be thick enough to hold a spoon upright β€” if too thick, add a splash more almond milk. If too thin, add a few more frozen berries.
  4. Spoon the smoothie base evenly into 2 wide, shallow bowls.
  5. Slice fresh strawberries thinly (about 1/8 inch / 3mm thick). Take two slices and position them side by side with the pointed ends facing down to form a heart shape. Arrange 3-4 berry hearts on top of each bowl.
  6. Scatter fresh blueberries around the berry hearts for color contrast and extra flavor.
  7. Optionally, sprinkle with chia seeds, shredded coconut, or granola for texture, keeping the berry hearts as the star of the show.
  8. Serve immediately while cool, creamy, and vibrant.

Notes

Use frozen fruit to achieve thick, spoonable texture without ice. Blend just until smooth to avoid warming and runniness. Adjust thickness by adding milk or frozen berries as needed. Slice strawberries thinly for best heart shapes or use a small heart-shaped cookie cutter. Prep toppings ahead to save time.
