These crispy air fryer loaded burger sliders feature juicy beef patties with a golden crust, melty cheese, and customizable toppings, perfect for quick meals or entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound (450g) ground beef (80/20 blend for juicy patties)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 slider buns, preferably brioche
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese, halved
  • 6 strips crispy bacon, chopped (optional)
  • Pickles, sliced
  • Leafy lettuce or baby spinach
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions (about 1.3 ounces or 38g each). Shape each into a small, flat patty with a slight indentation in the center.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Place 4-6 patties in the air fryer basket without overcrowding. Cook for 8 minutes, then flip patties and add half a slice of cheese on top if using. Cook for an additional 4 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  5. While patties cook, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, and smoked paprika in a small bowl. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  6. Optionally, lightly butter the slider buns and toast them in the air fryer or on a skillet for 1-2 minutes until golden.
  7. Assemble sliders by spreading sauce on the bottom bun, adding the beef patty with melted cheese, topping with bacon bits, pickles, and lettuce, then capping with the top bun.
  8. Serve immediately while hot and fresh.

Notes

Do not overmix the beef to keep patties tender. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket for best crispiness. Flip patties halfway through cooking. Keep finished sliders warm in a low oven if cooking in batches. For gluten-free, use gluten-free buns or lettuce wraps; for dairy-free, omit cheese or use plant-based alternatives.
